Ripped straight from the main boards basically. With Kessel likely being gone before the seasons starts, I think this makes for a very interesting season in terms of scoring.

My top 5 is two groups basically:
Keller, Dvorak, Schmaltz, Chychrun -> should all comfortably be top 5 in scoring for the team this year
Gostisbehere, Jaskin, Crouse, Hayton -> I want Hayton to be in the top 5 but I could realistically see any of this group being the one

This is my first thread so if I messed it up, Mods do whatever or move it wherever is needed.

That 5th one is tough, I'm leaning toward someone unexpected over Ghost.
Jaskin would be my likely 5th if not Gostisbehere. I think he'll get the chance to show what Russia has done for him over the past two years and I'm hoping he runs w it.

I went with Jaskin for the 5th pick here mainly because I think he will have powerplay time and be put into favorable scenarios throughout games.

Have to imagine that Jaskin will be playing with Keller & Schmaltz most likely on the #1 line and get the majority of the PP opportunities, so I can see these 3 as the leaders followed by Chychrun and then Dvorak who will be playing 2nd line Center

No Phil Kessel? With this roster he could only be here half the season and still end up top 3.

I think around here most pretty much expect him gone by the start of the season.
Gonna be hard to trade him if no one wants him. Hell, on craigs latest podcast he even says if Phil wants out he’s going to have to play his way off the roster. He’s going to have to come in and score goals and put up points to make himself attractive enough for other teams to want to make a trade.

That would likely be the best result for the Coyotes, yielding the highest return in a trade. BA should feel no pressure to move him before the season.

Chychrun - Dvo - Keller - Schmaltz - Jaskin

I'm not even sure if Dvo will be here, and I have...20% faith in Keller or Schmaltz doing well or well, better than previous seasons. Jaskin I think will be pretty good.

Agree. I'd take Dvorak off the poll and put Kessel back in. Kessel is probably going at the deadline for a nice pick or prospect.
