His numbers in STL were pretty good. You could say he was bad in Buffalo because they were bad, but our roster isn't looking great.

At one point last off-season, he had to have something done with his eyes because he was having trouble tracking the puck.

Hutton is one of the good guys of the league, but his season with Buffalo was horrendous. I guess that makes him the ideal tank goalie.

As Grubauer is with Kraken, the Avs-fans expects their team to be hot on Kuemper. So Hutton should get a lot of games.

Welcome to Goalie Resurrection Central. Hope he outplays whoever the #1 goalie ends up being and is traded at the deadline for a 3rd round pick ala Devyn Dubnyk.
He was bad in Buffalo cuz he's developed a vision disorder where he can't track moving objects. He's probably done at playing at a decent level.
Sabres' Hutton reveals he played with vision disorder during season
He has conversion insufficiency and goes to vision therapy but still suffers from it. It's ruined his career. Should be ideal Tank goalie.
