A smart team looking for a good 4th line center on the cheap should be on this. Underrated as a shot suppression guy for years - hell, he got buried in d-zone starts by Housley back in Buffalo and still managed to flip possession and end in the O-zone far too often for that disaster of a team.

I'd be surprised. The Avs definitely need a high end #3 centre, but I think Larsson right now is more of a high end #4 centre -- a gap that the Avs just filled with the Sturm acquisition.

I certainly wouldn't mind it, of course.

One of the most underrated players in the league. Doesn't lit villages on fire with goals and assists, but is a possession monster, defensively great and the heart and soul of Buffalo when he was there.

Not sure he has a single playoff game on his resumé, seeing he's spent most of his time in the NHL on trainwrecks, but I'd wager his style would fit perfectly during the playoffs.

Toronto could use him, to show the primadonnas how it's done.

I've always feared him going to Toronto and then having to deal with them having a forward on their 4th line who can find his way out of his own zone with the puck.

Dermott for Larson could be a good trade. Dermott is signed through next year and could be given more minutes to excel. Larson would help solidify our 4th line with two excellent face guys.

Sports hernia injuries can be career enders for a bottom sixer like Larsson. don't see a line up of teams vying for him, if he hasn't even played a game since the injury.

Don't see Johan part of the rebuild going forward. Low risk high reward for any team, he'll be playing for a contract!
The ask could be a draft position instead of a draft pick.
