I am more than curious about what kind of coverage or comments one can find in the media world wide about the Kings winning a second Cup in 3 years.

Here in Montreal, the main French newspaper LA PRESSE (equivalent in a way to the LA TIMES) does not hesitate to mention the possibility of a Dynasty, nothing less! Even though the journalist, Richard Labbé, takes time to mention that such a word is no longer part of today's hockey vocabulary in the era of salary cap, players changing from a team to another, etc. The MONTREAL GAZETTE (English newspaper) devoted first page of the Sports section to that awesome photo of Dustin Brown embracing the Cup. In his article, Neil Davidson, mentions: "LA's remarkable road to this Cup was long and tortuous. It was an edge-of-your-seat record-setting ride through all-comers that will be hard to beat."

Well,
In Denmark it was actually reported that Los Angeles Kings won the "North American Hockey League", NHL, after 5 games against New York Rangers in the so-called Stanley Cup.

It is accurately reported that Alec Martinez scored the Gamewinner in double overtime, but also proclaims that Justin Lewis was named "best player in the tournament".

Elsewhere the handshake-line is praised - as if an unusual novelty. Praised as excellent sportsmanship despite the Kings being jubilant and the Rangers disappointed.

Another important note in the Danish reporting was that the Kings defeated two Danes on their way to the Stanley Cup (Frederik Andersen, Anaheim Ducks and Peter Regin, Chicago Blackhawks). The danish media never forgets to include the "danish angle". Impressively it was also reported that the Kings are the first team to go through 21 games in the first three rounds and still win the cup, the 26 game record is also mentioned.

If we talk about Russia, there are a lot of articles about Kings. Ofcourse, LA not the most popular team in Russia, but during the finals the majority of fans were rooting for Kings. First of all because of Voynov.
