Lapierre is right.

Strange sequence to make this claim honestly. Although it has not lead to offensive rushes, the transition ability is on full display here.

Yeah, can't believe this guy who's been out for a year and is a veteran at training camp didn't stop up and clap it bardown. Why did we even get him?

We got him to ruin our room and chemistry!

i don't remember the last Habs prospect that had a microscope on him like Reiny does. guy does nothing wrong and it turns into a series of tweets
Because casual fans are used to watching highlights which always include players like Makar and Quinn Hughes going end-to-end and think that’s the only way you can be effective in the league as a defenceman.

Yes he plays a style of game that many fans don’t understand how important it is.

Look at Hamrlik how he was massively under appreciated

i agree about casual fans but if you're gonna pretend to be a journalist, eh... it almost feels like they want to see him fail or they think all we need is Mailloux on RD

Hamrlik is a great comparison. Just good at everything and makes the team infinitely better. Never stands out though.

This guy just signed for $8m+. Most fans would be hard pressed to name a 'sexy' quality about Seider's game, outside of his slapshot. Rein had a better D year than Seider, though struggled in his d+1 thanks to Kloten being a tire fire. Once he got to Laval, he immediately caught up to Seider's AHL D+1 point production rate, albeit in a smaller sample size.
