Price is Right on. Time to put work away for an hour!
LOL...I looked at Price is Right in the guide last night and I almost clicked Record in case there was nothing on at some point today to watch. I held off and watched some Gold Rush stuff instead and a Transporter movie...they never get old . So far I have refrained from subbing to Netflix .

Same, never been a Netflix guy and now it's sort of my thing so I have to run with it.

Hard to listen to Cuomo detail how states bid against each other AND THEN FEMA comes in and outbids them all.

What business school is this model from? I would like to take some courses. (on line of course)

All legit 3M/Honeywell/Home Depot/etc N95 masks are long gone from major retailers.

People are listing $15 boxes of 10 on ebay for $200, $300, $400 with 24 hour timeframes since ebay will delist them for price gouging within that time frame, if not sooner. They're just hoping someone will click the "Buy It Now" button and get their contact info before ebay kills the auction.

Other people are mass importing Chinese made masks that have the KN95 rating which is supposed to be an equivalent to N95, listing them for $4-$6 each in quantity on ebay/amazon. However, the problem is you have no idea if they are legitimate, or just sloppy bootlegs since there will be no documentation to prove they passed that testing.

I've been passing this link on to anyone who's asking:

Cambridge Mask Co - PREORDER

They're reusable N99 masks, better than N95 and last up to 3 months, though they won't be shipping until end of June. I figure better to have them for the future, or god forbid, this is still going on by then.
How many did you order, what's the final cost inc. shipping?

Wife just found out her floor is being converted to a covid only floor. Wheeeeeee.

It's worse than that, vast majority of US masks go overseas because (1) there is no export restriction like Europe has (Federal failure here) and (2) the State procurement agents aren't empowered to make fast deals. It's all right here:

Good luck to her and your family. She is providing an unreal service.

If this is NYC, it makes sense since the Navy ship and the JJ Center were made for those that do not have COVID.

2, one for me and one for my Dad. $71 shipped, my credit card doesn't charge fees for currency conversion so it may be a couple more dollars if your's does.

Since they're rated for 3 months of use, $35 isn't terrible. I'm really hoping June is the beginning of the trend downwards for all this and we just store them safely away for the future.

What I really want to get from England are a couple of those antigen test strips , but I don't really know anybody over there to ship me some

Over 9000 new cases in NYS today and around 330 dead from yesterday to today. Some news reports that it's slowing down around the country which is good. Hopefully stays that way but I think it stays that way if people continue to be vigilant for a while longer. See if that trend of fevers continues to go down and where we are in a couple months IMO. It might not take all that much to start it up all over again and I think there are hot spots that will pop up here and there for a while. That's if the last couple days haven't been an aberration. So there's a little bit of cautious optimism today though NYS--particularly the NYC area is still a major issue.

Death rate MUCH lower than initially reported now that they are are taking into accounts of cases not diagnosed. New death rate now estimated about 0.66%, not 2%-3.5%.

https://www.thelancet.com/journals/laninf/article/PIIS1473-3099(20)30243-7/fulltext

and how are they determining undiagnosed cases? agreed 100% that its misleading to only include diagnosed cases since testing is limited to people with symptoms and rich people, so you know that there are tons of people that have it and didn't get tested. but how are they not just making up a number here to make the new % fit the narrative? there is no way to know if the undiagnosed cases is 50k or 50 mil
