So can I take credit for the uptick in positive posts in this thread?

Not sure how people that are taking all the possible precautions can be served by massive panic. But you do you.

The constant fear mongering is causing a serious problem. Everybody who has a cold or cough or allergies when in normal times they wouldn't think twice about it, now think they have the virus which in nearly every case this just isn't true. I wish there was a system where people could get tested in a quicker and more efficient manner to alleviate the fear.
Jersey now has 2 towns under night curfew (Hoboken and Asbury Park)
Can somebody explain this to me? What the hell is the point of forcing everyone home at 10 pm when that's the time you see the least people out in the first place. If you implemented a curfew to keep crowds low, wouldn't you be doing that at 9 am or 6 pm??
This one makes absolutely no sense
So instead of doing that, closing bars & restaurants after 10, nobody can go anywhere to get groceries or supplies or pick up some takeout. Seems to me that's the best time to be out, when there's no one aroundBars and other social gatherings

I’m not advocating panic. Not by a long shot. I am advocating for, and hoping beyond hope, that those with the power to do so get this thing under control before it’s too late. People should not be panicking. People should not be running to the store to hoard TP and hand sanitizer. But the government should be seeing what’s happening and doing everything it can to keep people inside, putting a moratorium on their bills, and making people realize that being stuck inside an American home in 2020 is not such a bad deal. Not sure how people that are taking all the possible precautions can be served by massive panic. Hank recommended IkeaBreadman building a birdhouse during the pandemic. When he otherwise would be hockeying. Surreal. Lol
CDC is recommending the postponement/cancellation of events with 50+ people for the next 8 weeks.
From the BBI Giants message board. No idea if this is true but
“Holy name hospital in NJ is reporting 11 covid cases, all males between 28-48. 6 out of those 11 are in the ICU.. this comes directly from a doctor at the hospital.”
