I was absolutely floored to learn that Igor Shesterkin has a streak of 28 games. That's insane considering the league is probably in the highest scoring era in 30 years. Anyone know what the record is?

If I grant you the small stretch required that “7 is halfway to 15”, it’s still the case that for rare events, halfway isn’t anywhere near halfway.
