Yet he still somehow managed to save like 15 goals above expected in that 4 game sweep of the Oilers where every game was 1-0 or 2-1.
He didnt used to suck this bad. He had a .920 sv% in his first 4 postseasons. These last 3 .886, .870 and .844 BEFORE today. Its probably inside his head now.

Vintage Hellebuyck is back. The guy just can't perform in the playoffs. Feel bad for the guy.

Regular season goalie at best.
The team as a whole cant handle playoff hockey. They wilt under pressure. But Helle is not even remotely as good as he is in the regular season. And to think he was mentioned in the Hart conversation. He is a regular season lion.

I voted no because there is no one in the league named Connor Hellebuck. But there is a goalie who plays for Winnipeg named Connor Hellebuyck. :sarcasm::sarcasm::sarcasm:

I mean Leaves is spelled wrong to begin with. What do you expect? Leaf fans suddenly developer literacy skills???

I jest - He’s not wrong though; Helle has not been good in playoffs and hasn’t won a series in years

And last time these two goalies faced in a series, Binningtons team won a cup

On a more serious note. I have said all along that Winnipeg's defense, outside of Morrissey, is probably the least capable of playing Playoff hockey. Too small, not enough speed, and zero depth outside of maybe one pair. Luke Schenn was not going to fix the problems that Pionk/DeMelo/Stanley and company create by their inability to defend and clear the front of the crease.
