Connor Hellebuyck - Worst Playoff Goalie in NHL history

Watching the Jets vs Blues and I am amazed how big of a choker Helleybuck is come the playoffs.

He is probably the best goalie in the NHL since 05 if you look at just regular season hockey.

However, in the playoffs he just sells games and isn't stealing anything for the Jets besides their chances to win a game.

Since 2005, is Helleybuck the worst vezina winning playoff goaltender?

From 2017-18 to 2020-2021 helly actually had a .920 sv% in the playoffs. In his first 4 postseasons. Its not until these last 3 hes started getting blown up.

Without looking at stats i think bob usednto be pretty bad in the playoffs for columbus

I remember when a young Hellebuyck was outplayed by a Conn Smythe performance by MAF in 2018 he really didn't take any accountability in interviews. Some interpreted it as "confidence".

There is definitely a large enough sample size now that it is pretty concerning. Managed to get outplayed by Fourgiev of all goalies last year too. It has to be a mental thing.

Winnipeg barely allowed the Blues any quality chances in games 1 and 2. They've been bad, but not remotely allow 12 goals bad in games 3 and 4. The Blues also aren't 16 goals in 4 games good offensively. This should be a 2-1 Blues game.

He was a big reason the Jets lost to Vegas in 2018 too but people forget that. Chalked it up to fatigue for a young goalie but now it looks like he does not have that dawg
