Who wins the Conn Smythe Trophy?

If the Caps win and Ovechkin wins the Smyth oh boy the boards would implode. Makes the Ovechkin Crosby debate incredibly interesting lmao
He is 7th in ice time among Capital forwards and sure he had a great first game but anyone watching can see that even if the capitals go far and win the SC Ovi isn't getting the CS this year.

Came by to say Harley from Dallas, if they get past the Avs or McDavid from the Oilers but LA is proving to be a huge test so far.

Probably right, but would be dope, love Ovi

As of today Rantanen is on a tier of his own.

Then McDavid, Fowler (if...), Bobrovsky, Draisaitl and another drop to guys like Nylander, Svechnikov, Connor, Johnston, Reinhart etc.,

Rantanen has been incredible but Cam Smythe is definitely in the same tier right now. (Not in terms of likelihood because of the Blues' odds but in terms of quality of play by the player so far).

Cam Fowler has 10 points in 6 games, which is ridiculous since that puts him close to Drai, McDavid and Rantanen in ppg. i think those are the top 4 at the moment

This is of course a bit like predicting specific members of the final two teams.

I'm guessing that Makar wins his second Conn Smythe this year.

Well, this went well... Even had money on the Avalanche winning it all.

Confidence jinxed it.

The favorite is and has always been McDavid to me. And it still is.

Maybe not in a "if playoffs ended today who would win?" Scenario. He'd still rank high, but not #1 - Rantanen for example likely tops him, maybe a few others.

But in terms of the favorite to keep this up and make it to round 4? Yeah - McDavid
