Thanks. So why isn't Espinal hitting higher in the lineup then? How come a guy like Tapia got a few shots hitting up in the lineup while Espi has been stuck in the bottom 3rd most of the season?
Because our manager is useless and clueless

Not a fan of where we're at. 3 games out of first, 1.5 out of second, -9 run differential. The Yanks are already +49. They need to really get going.
I’m praying that if this continues much longer management acts quickly and fires montoyo

To be fair the schedules aren't even comparable. The Yanks have played some really really shitty teams. They've already played 2 series against Balitmore, Detroit, Texas, and Kansas City. The fact they aren't ahead of us by more while our bats are ice cold and we've had a brutal schedule should terrify them.

did take long for fans in here to be calling for Montoyo head. I figured it would be Jun 1st but anytime is a good time

MilB TV carries Vancouver Canadians games now and they're offering a deal on it. Use the promo code "CANADIANS" at checkout and you can get the remainder of the minor league season for $30 (it's $10 off)

watching the C's play Eugene tonight. Leo Jimenez just hit a HR to put the C's up 1-0 in the top of the 1st. Sem Robberse is on the mound for Vancouver for this game.

I think most here see that with a better manager, we likely would have made the playoffs last year (since we missed by 1 game and a few personnel decisions made directly cost us games).

Do they carry Buffalo, New Hampshire and Dunedin too?

After a slow start defensively, Chapman is up to 3rd in the AL among 3B (behind Witt Jr and Smith). He's hard charging and could catch and pass both within a week.

Espinal has been the 2nd best defensive 2B most of the year (behind Schoop). He's slowly gaining as well.

Vlad is starting to drop back to the pack among 1B (after being top 5 for a while)

Bo is dead last among SS with at least 100 innings (though he'll improve when his bat does)

McGuire leads all C (with at least 100 innings) with Kirk 17th. Of note, Heineman (our supposed defensive catcher) has actually been worse defensively this year than Kirk. Collins has been a 0.

In LF , Gurriel Jr has been significantly better than Tapia defensively (not exactly what you want to see from a 4th OF).

In CF, Zimmer is 19th (though I question the UZR info a little because I think our shifting is skewing his stats down a little). Springer is 37th.

No is clearly our future 2b but they want to keep him happy so they leave him at ss. If he’s going to stay at short he needs to stop training with Tulo because he thinks he can throw on the run like him.

Bo’s had a bad start defensively but he’s also 24. Tim Anderson was trash early on too and progressed there (although he’s been trash this season). Bo ain’t no XBo just yet.

I know what you’re saying but he’s also gotten worse it seems. We’ll see

I've been watching hockey while keeping an eye on the Jays from afar. I had a less than good feeling constantly going to the pen in the first like 20 games wasn't a good sign.

I'm not going to come in here and shit on the team like a lot of other people have in the game threads, but winning so many games on the back of their pen hanging on to small leads just isnt sustainable.

Romano had to save 12 of the 17 Jays wins already and now appears he's lost significant velo on his fastball. Not a good sign.

That big money rotation needs to start pulling its weight a little more. Gausman has been better than advertised, and Manoah has taken another step in his progression but the rest need to pick it up.

(Season ain't over yet. The Yankees got to beat on trash cans for the start of the season)

Oh man if he can find his game again, what a huge boost that would be

Given how the starting rotation has been, not much. We'd get a much bigger boost if the bullpen would stop mimicking the pen from last year: started out good to great, then slowly fell apart as we moved into May. And, of course, the offense.
