VLADY needs to stop whining. They lost the first base challenge that should never have been made, and later missed a challenge that was obvious as a result. Found it interesting other umps missed it to.
Vlady quit being a spoiled child. Cannot imagine what comment you made after challenge one that resulted in ump blindness.

clearly an ump with an agenda. How tf are these clowns never disciplined. Fans aren't paying to see them
I don't see a problem. The ump touched the first pitcher's hand which was presumably smooth and dry and knew that there was no problem. He touched Bum's hand which presumably wasn't (therefore he checked to see if the difference was due to a foreign substance or just sweat).

Groin soreness...

Please, for the love of God, can someone explain why the majority of baseball players don't wear jocks when playing? Seriously, they're not uncomfortable whatsoever and you don't even notice it once you get used to it after a minute. Why risk "groin soreness" like that? All it takes is one instance like this for it to hit home (no pun intended). :help:

Freedom of movement. It's rare for a professional athlete because of the slight performance boost offered by not wearing one.

Same reason NHL players don't wear cages.

With our pitching, the Yankees offence doesn’t scare me. Jays shut them down in 2 of the 3 games. I am more concerned about our bats and when are they going to break out more so than with the Yankees.

Cause it restricts their vision?

I can't tell if this is sarcasm or not...

Not sarcastic. Maybe the sound makes a difference (I only watch things like this on mute), but Bum mocked the opposing bench and got checked a few times over which suggests that either the ump found something or he was being told to calm the hell down by the ump who was making it look like a hand check.

The current state of this lineup annoys the heck out of me. On paper we were supposed to have a deep and balanced batting order, yet somehow Bradley Zimmer Has become an everyday player despite being 1/the entire season and we still manage to field triple a players on top of that. What the heck happened to biggio? Teoscar’s return can’t come soon enough.

our record flatters the hitting.

yeah I know it’ll come around eventually, but any day now would be a good start.

Covid protocols for Biggio. He just cleared and Davidi mentioned he'll begin a rehab assignment in Buffalo. Teo is expected to be activated today.

Grats to Rowdy on his monster game. Darn near hit 3 home runs in that game and broke the Brewers' most RBIs in one game record.

Always thought his main problem was in his head. His home runs were always majestic and had insane carry.

I wouldn't worry about it. Historically the Jays' bats are a little sluggish in April and don't really get going until May. What matters is they finished a slow month with a great record despite missing missing so many players and could have easily won a few more games. And they're doing it against great teams. It's looking more and more like this team will totally win 100 games easy.
