Too many to list. 3 of the 5 times I saw Muse were the "best ever", both times I saw Brand New, Kanye West this summer, The Gaslight Anthem, The Wonder Years

I think I've seen almost all of my favorites and anyone left I still want to see has disbanded.

First concert you went to? some country & western act, no clue who it could be, but as a pre-teen I'd seen George Jones, The Oak Ridge Boys, and more big acts like that thanks to my parents who frequented a beach/concert/day camp venue. Not my style at all, but they count. First one I went to on my own was Marilyn Manson in '96.
Best concert you went to? Couldn't possibly say. I've been to countless, and I've had some amazing things happen at some of them. From being on stage with some internationally-famous bands to having my favorite guitarist (Zakk Wylde) hang out with us all night after the show (in '99 before his band was huge), to having Zakk jump into the crowd and give out merch after losing power to the stage, to being in the front row for the original Black Sabbath or Ozzy about a dozen times (and receiving the requisite buckets of ice water in the face), etc... I could go on and on!
Far too many unbelievable performances from various bands, each in their own right, to count or recall. I do keep a book full of ticket stubs and I can nearly remember all of 'em. It's tough when you see bands a half a dozen times at 20-30 minutes each, and they're all as opening acts, but somewhere in there are the top-shelf memories!
Who do you still want to see? I honestly can't think of anyone huge that I'd like to see whom I haven't yet. One small act that I'll see in a couple months is Allageon, been wanting to see them for a few years now. I do want to see Metallica since I've only had the opportunity once. Tom Petty again as well.

Ozz, I think you'd like Avatar (the guy in my avatar). I've seen hundreds of concerts myself, most up close (front 5 rows), and they just put on a fun concert. They have sort of a cult following, and they involve the crowd quite a bit (at least when i saw them recently).

PJ gig in Stockholm was likewise great, their first concert in Sweden in 12 years (first since the Roskilde tragedy), the response from the crowd and the band made that evening magical. Hard to describe, one of those evenings that can't be recreated with bootlegs or youtube videos.

Couldn't place the name, but I looked up a live video and started playing their Wacken set from '15. Immediately I knew the first song (Hail The Apocalypse), they are pretty good! Never paid much attention but I'm going to watch this whole show

I've seen Between the Buried and Me 10 times in the last 4 years in 5 different cities....they're always great live.
My favorite show ever has to be seeing The Dillinger Escape Plan in a TINY venue a few years back. It was insane.

Best concert I ever saw: tough one, but I'll go with Iron Maiden (Megadeth opened too) in about 2012 I think.
Still want to see:
Bands that I as a 26 y/o never got the chance to see and never will due to deaths / band broken up. Cream, ELP, Led Zeppelin,The Who, etc.
I am not made of money and therefore out of luck: Paul McCartney.
Maybe somehow could still have a chance if they ever reunite: Dire Straits, Triumph.

on the main stage as well as

I am just copy pasting because I do not remember everyone we were...umm... a bit high at the time (some played some places some played others (but the main stage stayed the same) - also saw Lallapalooza #3 but it was not the same (at least for me).
And to add one more category - club shows (my sister was a band manager during the late 80's early 90's in Vancouver and we not only saw but hung out with/partied (pre and post shows backstage) with Mother Love Bone, Art Bergmann, Living Color (when they came through on occasion and traveled to Seattle and Victoria a lot) and many more you probably never heard of (right on the cusp of 'grunge' breaking out). The late 80's to early 90's was a pretty crazy time for me/us at age 18-22.

What? I've never thought they were particularly loud (seen them 3 or 4 times). Nowhere near the volume level of the Body, Sleep, Jucifer, etc.

Ok, now you have to share that story
It's probably not as exciting as you'd think. The last place I saw them was this smaller section of a bigger venue in Santa Cruz called the Catalyst. There's a part near the soundboard that sticks out so people can put their drinks there. The pit got pretty wild, and I happened to be standing right next to that. Some guy comes flying at me, knocks me right into the jutting-out ledge (which got me right in the middle of the back; knocked the wind right out of me) and I started blacking out. I kinda hobbled out of the crowd as fast as I could and just took a second to catch my breath.
Maybe it's just where I saw them. First time was at this place up in the SC mountains that used to hold shows called the Brookdale Lodge about 6 years ago. Pretty small place. It was so loud the only thing I could hear was guitars and the lows of the kick drum. Couldn't hear for a week.

My first concert was Michael Jackson ~7 years old. Around the same time Billy Ray Cyrus played at a county fair I went to with my grandparents.
Favorite 2 concerts were The Mars Volta Frances the Mute Era and Amputecture Era.
Others are Boris w/ Michio Kurihara, Porcupine Tree with Coheed and Cambria headlining, Opeth with Baroness and Russian Circles, and Chuck Berry.

First concert you went to? Wallflowers/Counting Crows or 311/De La Soul. Both were in 1995 and i was still a youngster. I went with my aunt because i loved the music. I know both were in 1995 but I don't remember which one came first. That was the first summer I went to concerts.
Best concert you went to? Coldplay: Head Full of Dreams Tour 2016. I'm a concert goer and have been to more shows than I probably can even remember. I went in with high expectations and they blew the roof off. Rarely does a concert, even when the performers are killing it, make me sit back and just say "wow" but this one did.
Since i've literally seen everything I ever wanted, I will change questions #3.
Underrated performers:
- Chainsmokers: If you are an EDM/House fan... holy **** they perform. It's not just about throwing songs on, they perform and really focus on the science of it. I had a ****ing blast.
- CHVRCHES: I was really shocked with how good they were. If you can check these guys/gal out, you need to go. I bet you will do the same thing as me and just be shocked.
- Keith Urban: Country music sounds boring right? Dude can shred on his guitar and was born to entertain.
- OAR: Don't even care if you are a fan of the music, they'll make you enjoy the night.
Some other bands that are must-see live: Blink 182, Linkin Park, Parachute, Ed Sheeran, Imagine Dragons, Phil Vassar (Dude can go crazy on a piano. Billy Joel style).
