What do posters think about the competitive balance of the NHL. How do posters feel about specific states and provinces that tax more or less? Specific states like Florida and Texas have a clear competitive advantage when it comes to sports (not just the weather). Do you think the CBA should step in and pro rate contracts so each team has the same playing field?

No intervention needed. Taxes are really not that big of a deal some people make them look like to be.

Get rid of the hard cap, put in a luxury tax. Will never happen, because Bettman get's his base from the have nots.
