A good read on how commited Jeff Carter is to PT, and how important that is to the success he's had this year to his scoring and overall game.

You can tell by SToll's comments how imipressed his teammates are with his continued commitment to staying fit.

He’d been really serious throughout the whole lockout in making sure he’s in the gym, he’s on the ice, he’s working hard. He takes care of his body. He eats right,” Stoll said. “If you’re going to indulge here or there, you can do that as long as you pick your spots. All in moderation.”

Wait, Williams nickname is Stick? Never knew that.

And I really feel like Carter put in the extra effort this past offseason even he doesn't say so. He just looks better and stronger than he has in years.

The he can't run because of bad hips is a bit scary.....

Just saying....

The summer before he was traded he almost needed hip surgery. I remember reading that after Boston eliminated the Flyers. It was a surprise to Flyer fans because we thought he might need knee surgery after a hit he took in the Buffalo series. He missed a few games and came back wearing a brace.
