Thank goodness back at the Bell. Was painful watching the game in that New Jersey stadium, you could hear a pin drop.

Possible first round matchup.

We would get beaten physically like no other.

Only team i don't want to face in first round.

Is this the same Columbus team that beat the Islanders 7-0 after the Islanders shut us out? This could get ugly

No more line of DD/Byron and Gallagher. That was embarrassing

It's very hard to hide our lack of size up front.
We end up with two small guys on two of our top 3 lines no matter how you cut it.
This is not acceptable most teams have 2 smallish guys total. :help:

I'm amazed at how many goals that Blue Jackets team scores given their line-up up front.

Tortorella effect?

Considering how bad they were last year good goaltending is the first thing that you notice.
They do play a heavy game and it's clearly working.
Torterella certainly should get some credit for their style of play they utilize.
The rest is just confidence in each other and the winning effect a good team can build on.

Looking forward to this one.
Byron DD Gallagher against Goliath.

I never look forward to playing these guys. They are a very strong team to defend against. Plus, their goalie pretty good too. I'm glad I'm going over my daughter's/granddaughter's house tonight. That should keep me busy until game is over with. Let's face it, Playing at the Bell just isn't much of an advantage, is it?

When Clod hit the blender last night, and these 3 came out...I couldn't believe it..............the smell was coming through the TV...that's alot of small, soft poo on one line...:shakehead

Let's hope Benn and Big Mac draw in tonight and help with the size and physical aspect of the game.

Me neither unfortunately there isn't a tongue in cheek thingee...
I've seen us struggle against bigger teams far too often over the last couple of decades.
If Columbus skate well tonight we are probably in trouble.

in all fairness, he was only using what he had to his disposal.

it's not like he benched anyone worthy in place of these 3...

he tried everything but only one line was working

Time to avenge that 10-0 beating. Boys will have to give it all for any chance but they can do it. Another 4-3 win would be just fine.
