The “Hockey Town” has not made play offs since 2016, let’s keep that streak goingLet’s be clear. I hate the Wings. I have a bunch of friends who are Jackets fans, but second to the Wings. I hate that. I hate their “Hockeytown” smugness. Their Datsyuk-inspired entitled attitude. I hate the logo. I hate that their fans think that somehow O6/Gordie Howe means they deserve special reverence today. I don’t know if there is a team in all of pro sports that I hate more than the Wings, and that’s saying something because I am a hater.
This is a correct application of DSL's Principle of Equivalent Criticality. We’re all excited for Saturday… but in mid-April, tonight will count exactly the same.
You seem overly bothered by this. Jenner traveled with the team before he was ready to play as well. It seems Waddell and HCDE like to get the injured players who are near-ready to come back a chance to travel with the team.wtf why
I think he is referring to Tarasov starting. You seem overly bothered by this. Jenner traveled with the team before he was ready to play as well. It seems Waddell and HCDE like to get the injured players who are near-ready to come back a chance to travel with the team.

Ah, the post shows the Gudbranson post (the Tarasov post is hidden) and then your response. My bad.Not that. Tarasov in net
All good . I should have deleted the top tweet in my reply.Ah, the post shows the Gudbranson post (the Tarasov post is hidden) and then your response. My bad.
Let's try this again. I actually don't have a big issue with this. Tarasov played well in his last start (I know it was a month ago) but Elvis was slow getting up from a play in the Dallas game (was worried he was hurt) and maybe HCDE wants to give him an extra couple days to be ready for the bigger game in Columbus. I know Elvis claims he always wants to have the net but we have seen from past experience that he wears down.wtf why

If we review recent game day threads, there are always a couple of people who blame the goalie for everything. If we review the latest GDTs, there wasn’t many compliments towards Elvis, so starting Tarasov shouldn’t be too big of a deal ?
Besides Tarasov was great in 3 out of 4 of his last starts
I blame the goalie for this post!If we review recent game day threads, there are always a couple of people who blame the goalie for everything.
I didn't get to see the last game. It sounds like Elvis didn't have a great night but we just came off of 2 weeks off and a 4 point swing over these 2 games would put us in WC1. It is curious to see Tarasov get in right now. I'd personally lean towards getting him in Next Tuesday but I'm not in charge.
It sounds like Cam Talbot is playing for the Wings tonight. Are they planning to start Lyon for the outdoor game or are they going to trust Talbot for both games?
Just seems like curious goalie management since the break since starting Tarasov would have made the most sense against a WC opponent.
The post is the goalie's best friend!I blame the goalie for this post!
While I agree I would have preferred to see Tarry get the Chicago game, we are 2-0 in those two games so it's nit picking. I don't know about others but as much as I would like to win both games...I am OK with a .500 split in the back to back (just don't want to lose ground to them). And if that means playing Tarry tonight and having a well rested Elvis for the outdoor game I am fine with it. And if Tarry can get us an OTL or W, then we are set up nicely to take more points than we give up this weekend. If we review recent game day threads, there are always a couple of people who blame the goalie for everything.
