Let’s be clear. I hate the Wings. I have a bunch of friends who are Jackets fans, but second to the Wings. I hate that. I hate their “Hockeytown” smugness. Their Datsyuk-inspired entitled attitude. I hate the logo. I hate that their fans think that somehow O6/Gordie Howe means they deserve special reverence today. I don’t know if there is a team in all of pro sports that I hate more than the Wings, and that’s saying something because I am a hater.
