Big chance for Joey.
Love it. That could actually be a good line
Big chance for Joey.
It will be great to play against such a skilled team. This has the potential to be an amazing game. Two of the best teams in the league, both on fire with skill to burn. A battle of titans
The Leafs have won the last 4 times after they've returned home following the California swing, so I don't think they should be sleepwalking this one

Ya you gotta wonder if they are showcasing Dermott a bit.Prefer Liljegren in the lineup but other than that lines look good.

Liljegren should not be taken out of the lineup for any reason at this point IMO. He has been absolutely outstanding.
I really hope once Mrazek and Micheyev come off LTIR that they make a trade to move one of Derms, Holl or Engvall to accommodate Timmy staying up with the Leafs. Because there are only so many 2-way contracts on our team to move off of the roster (Sandin, Lilly). It would be an absolute shame to send Lilly down, and a complete slap in the face if you ask me.
Even if the return for Holl, Dermott, or Engvall is not what we hope it to be, I think there is a lot of benefit to making that move specifically to reward the hard work Timmy has put in.
Timmy has done everything we have asked of him for years now and should have had a shot well before this year IMO. He was patient, and finally got his opportunity this year and has been outstanding. I think Kyle should trade Engvall for highest pick available and address the media/fans publicly and say we made this move because Timmy forced our hand. We could not send him down with him playing the way he is.
I think that's a statement that goes straight to Timmy's legs and not his head IMO. Not to mention it sends a message to the guys on the farm team that there is a GM who will reward good play.
I've had a love/hate relationship with Pierre since he joined the Leafs. He has a ton of raw skill. Stupid as f*** at times, but he really should have a long NHL career with his skillset IMO. I've been really happy for the most part with his play this year, but Micheyev is just a smarter player all around. IMO, Pierre is the obvious one to go. I am not sure if something else will need to move out to make the money work, but regardless, Timmy cannot go down to the AHL at this point IMO. Sends a terrible message to our AHL/Prospects IMO
Perfect.

That's the frustrating part about winning so much........you just know there will be a let down (loss) coming soon.
Nice to know from the #1 fan hoping for that occurrence.Losing streak, you mean.
But yeah, I hope all the fans anointing them as the second coming of the 70s Canadiens don't implode when (not if) the Leafs get spanked one night soon. It will happen.

I mean, where does he buy all those strawmen he uses in his posts?"the second coming of the 70s Canadiens" - said literally no one. Except for you.
