my team fanbase isn't the best, but god SEC fans are exhausting.

"NIL IS RUINING THE SPORT!!!" Meanwhile we signed the same amount of 5*s as Georgia and Bama, FOH

This might be the most cottony soft thing I've ever seen. Don't want the other team to plant their flag in your field? WIN THE DAMN GAME.

“I’m from the government and I’m here to help”…… RUN!!!!!! It’s a local state rep just trying to get his name out there and he succeeded

This is as embarrassing as Texas whining to the point where the Big 12 outlawed the Horns down.

I was wondering why Hartline hadn't come up in talks about the WVU opening yet. Apparently he has interviewed and it hadn't leaked until today. Brian Hartline reportedly interviews for P4 head coaching job

The longer the process to name the next HC has taken the more I've leaned into it being one of the coordinators from a playoff team (Hartline, Kotelnicki, or Schumann), and Kotelnicki has already withdrawn from consideration.

Yeah I saw that today as well. I think he’s going to stay at Ohio St for a bit tbh.

definitely possible. I half way think the AK stuff was a way for him to get more out of the Peds so may be similar going on with Hartline.

The other side though is that he's far less mercenary than AK is, so I can oddly see it as a path for him to get more consideration for the OSU HC spot next time that opens up if he can go to a WVU for a few years and turn that program around into what it was even 7-8 years ago, yet alone get it back to the levels it was at before Rich Rod left.

I still think it's going to end up being Rich Rod because money talks.

Becht out of the UFL/XFL is the one wildcard that's out there that could probably be palatable to both the pro-Rich Rod (aka the donors) and anti-Rich Rod camps. He's also interviewed and is an alum, not to mention you get a QB transferring in that's likely a late first round/early second round pick in 2 years.
