Shoulders are a motherf***er. Sounds like he's got the same problem as me. Dislocated my right shoulder in a soccer game when I was 18 and it's suffered from chronic instability ever since. Totally understand why the surgery is necessary cuz I can't even throw a football/baseball overhand with any velocity anymore without risking re-injury.

Don’t think that’s the same thing. He said it was hurting in specific situations, like a fall. He said he was still fine shooting the puck or playing generally!

He was injured in nashville?

He scored 3 goals in 2 games against nashville after chrismas lol

He is going to announce his retirement from Hockey. His dream has been to be a professional Jockey horse rider.

Makes sense to me. I can still do most things I did before the injury like shooting a puck or heavy weight training. The issue with instability is certain motions and positions, and if you take a fall or impact to the shoulder and you’re not braced for it, you’re gonna have a bad time. And it’ll be an issue forever if it’s not corrected.

Its allll good, thats what leads to Labrum tears, its a dislocation thats really more concerning

but not a nothing burger either. Just gotta watch those crunches, maybe get a lil bit faster too
often when guys like CC (smaller players) get hit along the wall they fold like an accordion. The hits aren’t dirty it’s just that the hips & thighs or core of bigger guys crush them & fold the upper body into itself….collar bones, shoulders & labrum can only hold up so long.
I’ve seen CC absorb too many of these hits. Short of titanium implants (lol) I don’t know of any treatment or workout that can alleviate the damage caused by repeated hits to this area?

Sign a team friendly deal Cole, don't be a little bitch.
Umm, have you witnessed the player mismanagement during the last couple decades… or more? Tread carefully Cole.
Cole was part of this mismanagement until recently…
