They seem to be focusing specifically on New Jersey castoffs. Which, given the great success that franchise had with them, is a no brainer.

The price is whatever, not a huge deal.

But would much rather have had a veteran like Gibson…I suppose price and retainage was too large an obstacle.

Blackwood is talented but mercurial, inconsistent, has had issues as a teammate and unproven as a full-time 50+ game starter.

Sounds exactly like the last guy we put all our hopes on….

I have little confidence he’s anything other than Georgiev II who is just having a better season/form. The appeal seems to be “he’s not Georgiev.”
