Jake didn't play significant games in the NHL till he was 26 yo, and was the final pick in his draft year. He is now 29, and has improved every year, especially with his skating and puck skills, and is now a legit 2nd pairing guy who is tough as nails. Not saying that his brother's career will follow the same trajectory, but if he works hard it's not impossible.
