This.Ludvig is better than de Haan, but Calvin gets the veteran treatment and stays up.
The Pens could claim him back and send him to the AHL, if they're the only team to put in a claim. He will probably clear.
Is that accurate? Are there not stipulations based on games played / time on nhl roster that dictate whether the Pens can assign him straight to the ahl? I think 10 games or 30 cumulative days. The Pens could claim him back and send him to the AHL, if they're the only team to put in a claim.
I did not go through the CBA, but the only instance I could find where that "10 games/30 days" situation applies is when is when a player is sent down to the minors after clearing waivers, is recalled and the team wants to send him back down once again. Is that accurate? He's not a good face puncher though, he gets beat upHe’s probably an upgrade on Cholowski and NYI can send George back to the minors.
Also he will punch faces once Martin is benched after reaching 1K games.
Went and did some digging because I am legitimately curious on the matter.I did not go through the CBA, but the only instance I could find where that "10 games/30 days" situation applies is when is when a player is sent down to the minors after clearing waivers, is recalled and the team wants to send him back down once again.
Feel free to show me otherwise, as I'm not omniscient...
