It'll be interesting to see what he signs for. I'm fine with the move if Mikko wanted 14m. If it turns out the Avs were being cheap and he signs for less than anticipated in the offseason it'll suck.

I mean yes, if we were gonna lose Mikko as UFA, obviously it’s a lot better to trade and get something in return. I’ll just wait for final roster before I step on the ledge. I was really under the impression Necas was a natural center.

That was making me feel little better thinking at very least our 2C issue would be fixed, but I guess they just gonna put Necas on Nate’s wing in place of Mikko and he simply isn’t gonna produce as much as Mikko did. Drury, hard working bottom 6 forward, fine. We still have glaring holes in the line up.

Trading a guy like Mikko, should fill some of those holes but this particular trade hasn’t done it. We’ll see what else CMac does I guess
