Great contract.

This season his stats are solid (min. 700mins).

10-3-1
0.920 sv% (11th)
2.46 GAA (13th)
4.94 GSAA (18th)
0.835 HDSV% (16th)

Over the last 3 years his stats are also really solid:

31-12-5
0.922 sv% (5th)
2.46 GAA (10th)
18.8 GSAA (12th)
0.816 HDSV% (38th)

It has to be said that he does get favourable starts, with only 2 of his starts this season coming against teams currently in playoff positions, but he does get the job done and has great stats when he plays which is all you can ask for.

That's an alright deal. He does get mostly gravy for opponents but i've seen him play really well when called upon so he would probably be able to handle things if they needed him to fill in as a starter.

Hell of a signing. Is he drastically worse/less proven than Campbell? I do prefer Campbell, like him a lot as a 1B at least, and he seems to have stayed mostly healthy in his career, so not dumping on him at all.... moreso just being complementary to Francouz

Assuming Campbell gets out of his funk, he's definitely worse than Campbell. Francouz is an above-average backup that likes Denver and fits in well with the team.
