As an aside, you know what I'd be pushing for as a GM of a team that's gonna miss the AHL playoffs? I'd try to send a couple of my best AHLers with no NHL future to a team that's gonna be an AHL playoff contender and try to get a 7th round pick or a future favour out of it.

Hahaha yikes, they had this problem last year as well. I wonder if they'll consider starting the show later in the future
