Asking prices are another thing but Läck or Talbot for example wouldn't accomplish much by coming to Columbus? If they are looking to further their career that is. Totally different market if there was an 'opening' between the goalposts.

Meh...he's 32. Career 2.95 GAA / .900 save %. Don't think he's that good. Ideally, he doesn't play more than 15 games, but we said that the last two years and Bob has ended up injured. For the price, it's a good deal, but would rather have a better backup for a bit more money. Team also apparently not sold on any of the young prospects being ready the next two years.
