Who remembers them? What are your thoughts on those jerseys?

I personally like them. I like them more then the Ducks current regular jersey which is just so boring.

I also like that logo if only it said Anaheim Mighty Ducks

Not really in topic but Tony Mårtensson was a star in SHL and KHL. Played well for the national team also. Wonder what kept him from becoming a regular in NHL. Not that I really followed him as a player but his stats always impressed me.

he put up pretty good numbers with cincy too but only appeared in 6 games with the ducks in 03-04 going 1+1 before going back to sweden. pretty sure the ducks drafted him in the 1st round too

he currently plays in the swedish 2nd diviison

Martensson was simply one of those guys who didn't want to ride the bus in the minors. When he entered his prime the SHL (then called Elitseren) was the second best league in the world and players could earn good bucks playing there. Then came the KHL where teams could offer even more lucrative deals. Meanwhile, NHL teams had more emphasize on size and strenght at the time, and Martensson wasn't some guy teams would throw 1-way deals at without him earning it through the AHL first.

He would’ve been a very good 2C instead of playing guys like Andrew Ebbett and Branden Morrisson.
