wtf happened? I just heard he got hit wierd? need tape.

Seems the GDT saw some elbow. Can't make it out with the pixels, but there sure is a sudden flash of force.
... we have to go back to stomping mofos. Unleash Reaver!

I don’t know how any one can say that was accidental

It was 100% accidental. He’s looking the wrong way as is Chytil.

Don't think it was intentional. Sillinger isn't a dirty player, and in the normal course of events, he would have expected Chytil to cover the puck-carrier, not turn the opposite direction. You can see Sillinger try to avoid him at the last second, to no avail. Really disappointing though for Chytil, just as he's continuing to add improvements onto improvements.

I thought Reaves was going to prevent such liberties. Guess not. Why is he here again?

He and the team did not get bullied around last year.

We started with offensive fireworks, but I'm missing the hits and meanness early on.

He wont be here next year, but the physicality has to stay.

It's pretty simple, anyone who has played hockey at least at a high school level knows it's not accidental, and anyone who hasn't thinks it's an accident just like any of the Slewban incidents last year
I'll never buy the "he didn't know he was there" "he didn't see him" excuses on these cheap shot plays.

These guys play hockey daily their entire lives, they dedicate their lives to hockey. They pass the puck backwards knowing where their teammates are. But they somehow miss a guy right in front of them going the same direction as them? I'll never buy that.

They know exactly what they're doing, and they know exactly what their intent is on every play.

Department of Player Safety wants to rid the game of head shots but continues to look the other way on blatant head shots if it's not against a poster boy. Imagine this happened to a golden boy of the league? Things would be different.

Fair, but then you have to wonder why half a dozen of Chytil's teammates have run into him in similar fashion in the last few years. They must really have it out for him.

Shocked Kreider Blais Reaves didn’t make a statement throughout the game as payback, soft team 😂
Even if it was an accident it was a reckless play.. this is an age old problem for 99% of ranger teams I watched over last 35yrs. Same thing happen to Bais early last season by Suban..
Wouldn’t it be nice to see the run out the 4th line goon it up then run out the third line minus kravy.. he would get slaughtered..🫣🫣🫣

Clearly intentional. Not saying the guy wanted to injure Chytil. But he saw a chance to make a point and took it. Should have been called interference and if the refs miss it, there has to be some payback.
Yeah Sillinger put his shoulder into Chytil, happened to hit his face with an unfortunate result. But there is no doubt Sillinger blindsided Fil.

I don't think he meant to clip him there but it was an intentional pick, if that makes sense. He wanted to get in his way and bump him so they could get an easy breakout. Definitely careless with the amount of speed he had.

There would be a thread on the main boards with 15 pages by now if Trouba had done this, btw. Just sayin'
