Guess it depends on which bone he fractured and how bad. Hopefully it's a wakeup call and the rangers get other players to PK next year instead of zibanejad.

So either Kakko or Gauthier up with Zib

Kravstov, Gettinger, or Lettieri?

It's gonna just be McKegg coming back into the lineup, isn't it...

A fractured foot has nothing to do with corrective surgery for blood clots.
That doesn't mean he's injury prone.
However.. This is the worst possible timing!
. Were you responding to me? I was basically saying he wasn’t injury prone. Just bad luck.

For my athletes, this is a 6 week injury.

4 weeks bone healing. Then the last 2 weeks are for the final stages of healing and then skating and conditioning.

Much much different than an upper body fracture.

Also depends on if it’s on the outside/lateral side or inside/medial side. If outside, likely 5th metatarsal and depending where, it may need surgery. Still same 6 weeks recovery.

If inside, that’s likely non weight bearing x 6 weeks. Longer recover. More like 8-10 weeks.

Blocked a shot I assume? Sabres fan here, just saw this as the latest post- you guys have had the worst luck lately. Awful timing on that one, a car accident with the hottest goalie in the league- damn man, when it rains it pours. Sorry to hear it, Rangers are fun to watch.
blocked shot in side of foot. I knew it wasn’t good when he went to the locker room
