Will watch the rematch between Eisbären and Djurgarden to see how many fight will break out between the fans this time and later check out Bolzano against Linköping. I'm still amazed that Bolzano won a game.

Game Ber - Dif has started slow. First shot on goal for Berlin was the first goal as well.

Djurgården ties it up.

A very slow start for both team, hopefully it's the early start and that it will get better as the games goes on.

And Frölunda also scored against Villach. It's a PP goal.

Oh, just when I wrote that Villach scored to tie it up.

1-1 in both those games.

Luleå - Nottingham 4 - 0

First ten minutes were terrible. Two shots on goal by both teams if you count generously. Berlin's first PP without even entering the attacking zone once and Djugarden's offensive barely existed. It has gotten more heated in the last few minutes but that resulted in three penalties and not more scoring chances. :shakehead

It can only get better.

Frölunda scores again. 40 seconds in and they are up 2-1.

Yep, hopefully things gets better, though no injuries please, but I wouldn't mind another fight or two.

Djurgården have to get better with their penalties, they take way to many of them (it feels like anyway) and it will continue to cost them.

Don't worry, it's Berlin's turn to sit in the box. Unnecessary hook by Sharrow.

It seems that the whole game is played 5 on 4 with both teams picking up another penalty once the last one is done.

The ref missed an Eisbären tripping just before the cheap interference call... The refs have so far been a disaster.

Well, there is nothing wrong with Djurgården's power play anyway, now they need to work some more on their ES finishes.

Who the **** is that gutless **** McBride? He should be charged with assault in a court of law!

This tournament is just full of dumb american scrubs looking for their 15 minutes, i call swedish teams pulling out next year. How many "accidents" are we at now?

Central europe does seem to have an affection for gutless canadian beer leaguers.

The point shots seem to be really hard to defend against. Teams are really using the bigger O-zones to their advantage.

Berlin tied the game but it's no longer possible for them to advance to the next stage of the competition even if they win in OT.

I think of the German teams only Köln is still in the competition.
