So, I always liked Rick Ralph in his TSN 1290 days, and still follow him on Twitter.

But - he is no longer in the sports news biz (from an interview on Hustler's podcast I think he is selling mortgages), nobody else is reporting this, and even Rick posts it as "hearing" I would be doubtful of this news.

Very fortunate that didn't turn out much worse than it did.
I saw the close up video where the good samaritan and the thug went down the stairs, that could have easily been a fractured skull.
It's so easy to second guess or what if....but these things happen very quickly and I doubt anything diffrent could have been done.
Hopefully we don't see this kind of stuff again.
