well not 3 2nds for Murphy for starters...Bryson and the 4th kinda cancel out so whatever.
I get many Hawks fans would want a 1st for murphy who will be bid on at the deadline but Buffalo's pick wouldnt be on the table as it'll be to high. Also this only makes any semblence of sense for Buffalo if they have a shot at the playoffs which today looks very thin.

I think Murphy would help their position. Plus, he's not a UFA.
IMO, he's the young vet that helps the other defenseman reach their potential.
Open to discussion.

Too much, Bryson + 2nd + maybe a little more, some late round prospect or mid/late pick.

I think Buffalo 2nd 2023 (will be top 40) + 3rd 2024 would be ok but maybe a contender can offer a 1st for Murphy retained?
If we get an ok return for Olofsson things could change. Giving up two seconds now when we have 1 goalie in the prospect pipeline and no defensemen hurts a bit too much.
An option would be to add Johnson instead of the 3rd since if he doesn't sign you get a late 2nd round pick.
I'm fine with moving Portillo as well since he likely won't sign. So maybe a check in with their agents and if one guy is willing to sign with Chicago we could add a pick on top of that guy?
Buffalo’s two and Johnson sounds alright to me

I'd put him with Power on the second pairing. Our defense would look much better on the right side.

Seems fair to me. Late 1st or 2 2nds is a pretty nice return for Murphy.
