thing that worries me is that mrazek hasn’t played hockey consistently in two years now, last year he played 12 games total over the season and this year he’s probably practiced around that many times. He’s probably gonna be rusty and allow some bad goals, boys better be ready to do both offence and defence

It’s a tough division and nothing is going to come easy. Both Florida teams are dynamite and the Leafs will need to get back to the good habits that we had watched the last 20 ish game before the latest slide

I'm worried. Must win game. The team has looked like crap for at least 3-4 games. Seemed to have completely lost their defensive structure in favor of playing high scoring games. Look at our schedule, this is not the time to revert to run and gun. We need to get back the core structure that was bringing success.
Tonight with our goaltender essentially making his season debut for us, we need to support him. Giving Mrazek a chance to find his form means he can likely start games at the rate Campbell was until the new year and let us rest Campbell and gain trust in another goalie.

Far from a must win game tonight, team just needs to tread water until the injury bug and suspensions are up, although these are the types of games they should win. Toronto did a good job banking a lot of points in November.
I agree, Toronto has been sloppy in the neutral zone and d-zone these past 5ish games. When they went on the winning streak they were playing tight and sound, wouldn't be a bad idea to go back to that when it's your goalies first game in a month.

Last game against TB wasn’t the worst they’ve played but the fact is they’ve lost 3 of 4. Not a must win tonight exactly but one they need to take, hopefully convincingly, to straighten things out a bit. Curious about Mrazek but I’d like to see him get an easy enough night to start.

If Lily can keep up his great play it is our best optuon having him on the 2nd pair.
Regardless we need to trade for a Muzzin partner to have Holl as a healthy scratch.

Should be but this has shades of Prost-Senna and watch for Max to ram Lewis out. The "mistake" he made qualifying with softs was intentional, to make sure he's got super sticky tires at the start and have the upper hand at the 1st first corner. Bet the farm on anyone else but Max/Hamilton winning this race, they'll both be out early
If Kase works out with Matthews then I can see them winning.............because even though Matthews has been scoring, he really isn't getting that many good looks lately....Simmonds is a disaster on that line...
So the Tavares line had to be the one to pick it up and though Willy still generates chances, I think Tavares has looked really slow lately...

Who is claiming the leafs losing last game means this? I know there are a few extreme reactions after the leafs lose even one game, but this is also an extreme troll job of a select few fans
