lindberg is a center for sure, he's RFA. Marchessault is listed as a C on capfriendly, could play left wing I guess.

Other way around. Hes a winger who can play Centre. He played all his games last year at wing.

This is basically a expansion draft deal. The Hawks would have moved TVR themselves otherwise.

Dude, we just saw Vegas flipping TVR to Carolina for a 2nd. Chicago could've very well done that themselves, prior to the expansion draft.

These signing bonus hand shake deals are wacky. Either make signing bonuses stay with the cap of the team that pays them, or let teams trade guys and retain signing bonuses within the player's upcoming year of their contract.

It seems like a CBA loophole. Why is it that accrued salary throughout the year stays on each team's cap, but signing bonuses paid out don't if the player is traded?
