Donato is having career year (14 goals + 14 assists for 28 pts in 47 games) and would provide Devils a vet 3rd line C/W (He can play both positions) to strengthen depth ahead of playoffs

Hawks get what is likely to be late 2nd + future 4th (Hawks don't have 2027 4th) further accumulating assets for future that could also potentially be utilized as trade chips

Is Dickinson for sale? What's the price? With or without retention?

What about Dickinson + Reichel for a 2nd and a 3rd?

I would think dickinson 50% retained for a 2nd would make some sense. Donato is better on the wing. you would get dickinson for this year and next at $2mil (last game he won 16 of 20FO) very good DEF. . I think Donato is more like a 2nd with the Blackhawks throwing back a pick like a 4th.
