All those exhibition games outside of North America finally paid off and we got our first CHINAs trade!

History has been made.

Rolston wasn’t getting a lot of time in the AHL lineup as of late. Probably a do right by him deal at this point.

Milwaukee might be getting a little thinned out due to some injuries and recalls, so it's a warm body to put on the ice for the Admirals.

Hahaha, what year was that going around the most? Been so long I'd like to see who was actually available in the 2nd round that year (or the next).
Micheal Ryder and Jaroslav Halak were teammates in Montreal for 2 seasons (2006-07 and 2007-08) but Halak wasn’t a full time NHL player yet(16 games in 06–07 and 6 games 07-08). He broke in full time in 2008-09 but by then Ryder was already in Boston. This means it presumably would have been a 2nd for the 2007 or 2008 draft.

Montreal picked 43rd in 2007 (P.K. Subban), with the only other notable 2nd rounder after them being Wayne Simmonds (61st).

Montreal picked 56th in 2008 (Danny Kristo), with the only other 2nd rounder to appear in the NHL after them being Jimmy Hayes (60th).

The first year it could have been a thing was 06-07. If that was the year, Montreal actually selected PK Subban with their 2nd in 07.

Seriously I thought he had potential at ND but he hasn't translated it as pro. Hawks doing him solid moving him somewhere he might play part in plans since he looks to be out of plans here

Still expect he will find way to get to NHL level even if its just brief appearances. He has a lot of traits NHL teams desire in player in bottom 6 role
