We spent 50 years in the wilderness and finally won the Cup. What joy that was. During those 50 years we had some very bad teams and we had some VERY GOOD teams (maybe even better than our 2028-2019 team).

We will get through this current funk. I think we have the core pieces, we just need a minor retool over the summer and a regular 82-game season with fans and all the perks of a normal season to get back to winning ways. Right now the team's problems are psychological and they are quickly getting worse with each bad luck bounce triggering a domino effect of bad plays. We will survive this. We did so in 2017-2018 when we failed to make the playoffs with terrible games in the last week of the season. Anyone remember that?

Yeah I'm with you. We won a cup recently. We're gonna have ups and downs. Good and bad seasons. Just enjoy the ride. I think this season is a bit of a wash anyway with all these injuries so I'm not even mad. If we don't make the playoffs, retool and get back to business.

I say this half-jokingly, but any feelybads I have over the short term future of the Blues will be tempered by the schadenfreude of watching the Sharks for the next few years :)

My thoughts exactly. Ultimately, we got our cup so anything after that was a bonus. In time, we'll build a championship contender again.

I hope. :help:
