It’s actually been the opposite. Canadians have been advised preemptively that if they win the championship game, it means they’re 1-1 against the USA and thus it doesn’t count.

I got a bet for MacKinnon to score and Canada win, also a bet for MacKinnon to score the first goal. Oh yeah sorry you take sports betting as the devil should have not said that, sports betting has been available in my country for as long as i have lived (for 18+). I guess it depends where the profits go and who do you allow running the bookers is the bigger thing instead of the actual betting tbh.
