lol walk away from the keyboard there, warrior. Go learn some hockey history
Oh yes very sad and embarrassed I don't know women's international hockey history.

Second greatest female hockey player of all time AND a medical doctor.

She is a national treasure. Show some respect.
I'm not sure if you're being serious or not tbh.

Does it make you mad that someone you hold in such high regard is a complete unknown to your southern border, much less the world?

Classic, a fan of the new 'greatest hockey country on the planet' doesn't know who one of the greatest female players of all time is.
That's like caring about curling players.

Nah, it's like caring about hockey, though.

Best Canada can be is 1-1 against USA. Facts are facts.
The Canadians and Americans have met 19 times in best-on-best tournaments since the 1976 Canada Cup, with Canada holding a 14-4-1 advantage. All of this to suggest that irrespective of the outcome today, Canada’s dominance in this sport is clear. Facts are facts.

Now back to the Championship game.

Put big money down on USA…. Canada got no shot

I think this has the potential to have the highest views of a hockey game ever.

I am in several gaming discords and take shit from Americans for being a hockey fan (it's not a real sport kind of thing). They are talking about the game and their plans to watch it. I have relatives who might watch a hockey game once every 3 or 4 years if they were at an event it was on making plans for watch parties.

And to top it off, you have disgruntled NBA fans with their league and the quality of the game giving the sport a real chance. You actually have a chance to convert some fans into at least casual viewers who never thought about watching the sport.

Good job NHL

True… this is the most hype I’ve seen for a hockey game…. Maybe in my life time

Friends that never watch hockey asking to go out and watch game…. People in gaming discord talking about it, Twitter hype.

Wasn't the # of Canadians that watched the Gold Medal game in 2010 like 28M or something? It'll be hard to top that in Canada, but yeah in the US it'll be high.

Real test for the historically non-hockey fans in the US will be if they can feign interest once this is over or if there they are just interested because of the USA USA USA nonsense.

That's like saying Princeton is one of the best college football team of all time because of their 28 titles. Congrats on the history? Don't care about what happened when I wasn't even born.

Good luck getting to 1-1 in this tournament.
I would imagine you were alive in 2010 and 2014. Maybe even 2002, although your posts would make a lot more sense if you weren't alive then.

I am not mad people might not know her. I am annoyed by stupid people belittling great athletes they do not know just to antagonizing other people.

Like you said - facts are facts. You can’t be butt hurt just because you don’t like them.

Loser mentality to not be able to decipher between the round robin and championship game. Not sure why the coping is required before the game is even played though..

Your team is strong and competitive. Why the pre-conceived excuse/coping?
