Sounds like it is Shawinigan - I don’t think it can be official until September due to trading imports rules.

I agree that UM would have been the better choice but obviously there were things standing in the way of that happening.

He could potentially be assigned to the Wranglers too, in fact, I wouldn't be shocked if he started there so the player development team can work with him for longer before assigning him to the Q

That would be a very dumb move for his development. He’s not ready. He needs to go to the Q.
