Isn’t Weegar playing the left side?another RHD?
whos he replacing on the PP, Weeger or Andersson?
The poster is asking how Barrie will get PP time as most PPs, not sure about Calgary's use 1 dman and that would be Weegar, or AnderssonIsn’t Weegar playing the left side?
Barrie is fine as a sheltered bottom pairing guy getting PP time.
Weegar plays LD and Barrie has also been playing some LD in camp.another RHD?
whos he replacing on the PP, Weeger or Andersson?
He doesn't have an on side any more, so yesIs he playing his off side?
Andersson not that great on the PP. He had 0 goals on the PP last sesaonanother RHD?
whos he replacing on the PP, Weeger or Andersson?
I don't think seasoning is the problem. Just one D under 25. Need to find some guys that are actually good. One year is OK. Our second line RD and later needs a little more seasoning in general.
Age =/= Experience. Miromanov and Pachal might be 25+ but they have very limited NHL experience (about 110GP combined) and are still developing. Hell, Bahl has more experience than the 2 of them put together. Even old man Hanley has fewer than 200 games in the NHLI don't think seasoning is the problem. Just one D under 25. Yeah, they don't have much experience because they are scrubs.Age =/= Experience. What do you expect the flames to do right now? Call up the sharks and ask if they've changed their mind on Ceci?Yeah, they don't have much experience because they are scrubs.
More experience won't fix lack of talent.
lack of opportunity doesn't mean lack of talent, defensemen often improve in their mid-late 20s... but that doesn't matter, trolls gonna trolls, right?Yeah, they don't have much experience because they are scrubs.

Some players improve in their late 20s. Most of the guys that are borderline players at 25 fail to ever become NHL regulars. Odds are there won't be a single guy from the Flames D-core still on the team when they make the playoffs again.lack of opportunity doesn't mean lack of talent, defensemen often improve in their mid-late 20s... but that doesn't matter, trolls gonna trolls, right?
Pachal and Miromanov have both shown promise since being acquired. Bahl has shown some promise in NJ... even if the odds are slim, why piss that away by throwing them into the fire when they clearly aren't ready to handle it? It's basic common sense. But asking you to use that in Flames related thread is too much of an askSome players improve in their late 20s. Most of the guys that are borderline players at 25 fail to ever become NHL regulars. This signing is better than nothing for the Flames, but why pretend like he is sheltering prospects? The Flames don't have any D prospects on their roster.
