I feel.like he is about to improve and get noticed. He had some meaningful minutes at end of season. Then made worlds and got some experience there. He didn't play great at world's but it was a learning experience.

I think he can build on all that. I'll guess he plays majority of games in NHL and gets around 25 to 30 points next season.

Had like 15 good games. 2.5M for that is fair.

That said I think he makes it look like a bargain.

One of those players it's tough to gauge where his ceiling is. Really had some dominant stretches in the AHL and was the Wranglers leading scorer in 2023-24. Skates very well for his size if a little out of control. Probably not going to be the next Protas but I could see it like a sugar free version with more snarl.

Happy the Flames have committed to him. Exactly the kind of player you want to be trying out in a rebuild.

Meh, it was only a handful of games that he was noticeable. Frankly I was surprised he had 31 games with us in the NHL. I only remembered his failure of a stint in October and then being good the last month of the season. I had him pegged at 2x1,0, the same deal Pospisil signed a year prior but with more success in the NHL

He and Pospisil are both fun player types. I’m not sure either is quite as consistently good as I want them to be (obviously Pospisil is higher now) but there are way less interesting ways to spend 2x1.25.

I think Adam will prove himself even more this year and may even find himself blotting out the sun in front of the net on the Flames powerplay.

A big man with decent speed and hands and fairly high hockey IQ is how I'd describe him.

When he learns that he can go where he wants to go on the ice, while shrugging off all the Lilliputians, he will be a force to be reckoned with.

The Flames have a boatload of cap space, so they're probably going to thank you if you sign him to an outrageous amount for them to not match. If anything I can see the Flames trying to offersheet someone like Bourque.

People look at his size and really think he’s one dimensional. But he actually has some very nice moves. Send him out for all the shootouts

Love this signing - his reach and frame are a huge problem (lol) on the forecheck, he protects the puck well, and he’s got good hands in close.

If he establishes a reliable motor, he could be a real weapon.
