Gotta think Jones is done in the CFL. He’s been in Edmonton twice and it didn’t work. He’s been in Hamilton previously too. I think he needs to move on to US high school coaching (which he also has recently done). If we never see him in the Canadian game again, not many tears will be shed I would think. This is the CFL. Not much makes sense. Would it surprise anyone if Jones became GM and then went out and signed Tre Ford?
Maybe he gets another role with the Cleveland BrownsGotta think Jones is done in the CFL. He’s been in Edmonton twice and it didn’t work. He’s been in Hamilton previously too. I deserved that!!
They be better off hiring Bob Wylie. He has CFL and Cleveland experience, lol. That guy was still coaching pro ball as of last year.Maybe he gets another role with the Cleveland Browns
I’m still pissed at Tony Gabriel (rinses mouth out with soap) so probably no chance of that. We'll let it go when you let go of the 13th man debacle
I was just suggesting the Browns because Jones had a role with them a few years ago. They be better off hiring Bob Wylie. He has CFL and Cleveland experience, lol. That guy was still coaching pro ball as of last year.
Met Bob once in Regina years ago- he took my son out of the stands onto the field during the pregame to shag balls for Steven Jyles. My son is nearly 30 now and isn’t a sports fan but he is still a huge CFL fan. It’s these little things that build the game.

He’s already back in the CFL. Hamilton hired him as their senior defensive consultant (whatever that is) not long after he was fired here. He’s been credited with turning their season around. No idea whether or not that can translate into the GM job there or not but he’s closer to getting the keys to another team now than we thought he’d ever be after he was dumped here.Gotta think Jones is done in the CFL. I noticed they went back to the "EE" logo everywhere...
I'm pretty sure that LT said at his initial news conference that they were really going to focus on the EE brand going forward. Hopefully, it's just the first step.....I noticed they went back to the "EE" logo everywhere...

My guess is as time goes by we’ll find out the Elks board was an even bigger problem for the team than anybody thought. Hard to believe every football guy that comes here suddenly becomes stupid.
LT has stated that he’s going to make the EE more prominent. I also noticed TSN went back to the EE logo on the score clock on the bottom of the screen during gamesI noticed they went back to the "EE" logo everywhere...
The real tell will be when we see an org chart and see how big the DEI department is.LT has stated that he’s going to make the EE more prominent. I also noticed TSN went back to the EE logo on the score clock on the bottom of the screen during games
The owner is a former 40 year ST holder, Chris Morris is the president, and Swerve is the GM. At least we’re going in the right direction
The CFL is expert at recycling. You don't have to put the bins out either. Just store it in the garage for a few days and its ready to use again.Did not know he was already hired. WTF is Bob Young thinking? He has already demonstrated he should not be given significant or wide expanse of control.
No doubt the EE BoD was a huge hindrance, but CJ wears most everything about the on field performance.
He’s has shown a significant indifference for chain of command in all CFL locales he’s been in. He marches to his own beat. I doubt if they were telling him who to recruit or who to play that he really gave a fak.
I’m sure with the contract term and span of control he had, he wasn’t really afraid of the BoD.
A new owner that hadn’t hired him? That was a different situation altogether that he wasn’t able to dodge.
Well if Hervey can do a good selling job I have no idea where Ford thinks he has a better chance at winning the starter's role coming out of camp. One more reason for us to keep Ford
