Why has Pinelli flown under the radar with the Jackets? Particularly given the seeming lack of scoring forwards in their pipeline?
Because a ton has to go right for a 5'9 170lb kid to develop into a top 6 scoring forward. We've seen player after player like that in our pipeline absolutely dominate Jrs only to never be able to take that next step and be successful in the NHL. Abramov, TFW, and now we'll see how Dumais recovers and competes in the pros. But also a lot of our scoring talent have graduated to the NHL, so we're more focused on how our current crop of young kids develop. Half of our roster is basically u24
