Pretty sure this is a Cleveland move even tho the contract isn't two-way. I believe he's still waiver eligible.

Did Clayton miss six playoff games due to injury or was he a healthy scratch?

I assume he's more of a vet presence that knows the city for the new guys. Sweezy and Blankenburg left for other teams.
