Add Carlsson.

Did I forget anyone or add anyone that shouldn't be added? Please let me know!

First time in a long time (ever?) that I had to think about #1. I went with Bjorkstrand because he has shown the most so far.

Add Anderson

Ditto this exactly. #2 will be an easy decision.

Werenski, add Anderson.

Also, Oliver Bjorkstrand and Kole Sherwood both have misspelled first names, and Lukas Sedlak's, Oleg Yevenko's, and Markus Soberg's last names are misspelled.

Why do so many want Anderson added? This is why I usually only vote for a few rounds. A guy who will likely be a third liner at best is not a top 10 prospect.

Clearly Hannikainen. :p

I think our next group of prospects are kind of bunched up.

I'll be honest, I don't see a huge difference in our forward prospects once you get beyond the first 2 or 3. There is some upside discussion to be had. I feel the same for our D and G prospects.

It's kind of a solid group of guys. Your vote, Carlsson, is kind of in that mold. Solid prospect but isn't heads and shoulders above the rest of the field.

Every. Effing. Year.

Fortunately, I can just quote from last year's polls...

I don't think I can really give anyone grief this off season. It's kind of a group of solid guys. We used to get people going for "nhl ready" over "potential", but I don't see a huge gap in these areas this off season after the first 4 or 5.

Anderson is clearly close to ready, but I'm certainly not ruling him out for top six duty down the line.

I, for one, consider the anticipated impact on the NHL team. Being closer and/or more of a sure-thing to play in the NHL is part of that consideration.

I personally view it as:
Guys with high upside + high likelihood of success > Guys with high likelihood of success and low upside > Guys with high upside + low likelihood of success > Guys with low upside + low likelihood of success.

He obviously had a monster playoffs so his stock has risen, but I agree to an extent. I'd probably have Carlsson slightly above Anderson right now simply because of the value defensemen have these days.

For example a prospect like King Nuti didn't make it in top-20 last season. A rare candy. Champion of a team in European top-10, perhaps even in top-5. In the global rankings already ahead of the recent Blue Jackets NHL department.

Now he is coming over and won't slot in the automatic top-5... ahead of summer börjes nowhere near as accomplished in the professional game. Well...

If the princes would build us a sand castle...
