It was absolutely pathetic. I get the Skip/Shannon format but this was stupidity. I expected better from that panel.
I have low expectations for them but they still manage to disappoint me all the time.

Statement game. Win convincingly and silence the critics
I hope he can be a solid bottom 6 guy for us down the road. I've liked what I've seen from himDouglas looks a lot better than Marchment has at any point in his AHL career, and he is younger + much more physical.
Watching him go at it vs. Tkachuk last night stung. Constantly battling on the ice and going at him verbally from the bench. Marchy's always been fiery as hell. Him and Bunting would give teams fits.Gonna be sad watching Marchment tonight. Local guy that worked his way up through our system. Just to move him for a soft, undersized player (Malgin) who doesn't bring much if he can't play in your top 6, which he can't. Marchment should have been kept on, he could easily be an upgrade in Simmonds spot. It's why I hope we don't make the same mistake twice, and we give Curtis Douglas a fair chance when the time comes
So true man. Love that we have Bunting now. Would be great to have more pieces like that. I have hope that Blackwell will show some of that come playoffs/when he gets more comfortable here with his teammatesWatching him go at it vs. Tkachuk last night stung. I think they need to put together a winning streak of solid 200ft play to start silencing the critics. Team has been in a lull for more than a month. One win won't do it.
Yeah no issue with their play. Concerning thing is lack of finishing which has happened in the playoffs tooUnpopular opinion, but I actually thought they played a really good 200 ft game last night - just a few mistakes ended up in their net.
I know people got on Keefe last night for his "82 times" comment, but if they play the way they played last night more often, they'll always be giving themselves a chance to win.

Yep.
They get goalie'd with alarming regularity - which makes me think they have major issues against teams that take the slot away.
Robertson can’t play on two lines.Personally, I want a completely new 4th line.
Robertson with Tavares/Nylander, and a 4th line of Robertson/Blackwell-Kerfoot-Kase.
More from Kyle Davidson, because we aren't ever getting that from Dubas, obviously.
Elliotte knows where his bread is buttered. It isn't in Chicago. PR is a huge game within the game. Information control is so important today.
I take Kyle Dubas' confirmation of what Kyle Davidson said as the only "facts" of this situation. Beyond that, it is all speculation by Elliotte and everyone else.
Friedman doing damage control on this is not hard to believe, for me. I felt this story was massive. I still feel that way. So many possible implications that have been discussed, but, again, the only facts are Kyle Dubas admitted he was upset the details of the potential trade got out there. Anything else we simply don't know because neither Kyle is going to speak about it anymore. Do I think someone from the Leafs org told Elliotte that it was Chicago asking? Sure, very likely. Truth? Unknown and surely debatable.
Tell me what Chicago has to lose in any of this? Nothing. Hagel and Fleury are gone. What does Kyle and Toronto have to lose? Plenty. Toronto has huge incentive to do damage control. Chicago doesn't have any.
The SN speculation was so bush league.
Fact: Dubas said from the onset he was going to make moves that made sense and made us better. Knies is our top prospect. It makes total sense for any team to ask for him. That doesn’t mean he was offered by Toronto. The fact that no trade happened should be clear: Chicago asked, Toronto left. Period. Anything else is deliberate trying to stir up shit, and Bieksa doesn’t know has hand from his ass.
As far as how Campbell must be feeling, here’s a tip: if you want to keep your job, bloody well do it properly. Stop the damn puck and we don’t need another goalie. Otherwise, everyone is replaceable for someone else who does the job.
Extremely disappointed in the SN hatchet job last night. From now on I change channel but what they were trying to intimate and incite last night was TMZ level trash.
Harvard boy you say?

even the misadventures of ron and tara might be better than that intermission
A win last night keeps them there, too. Literally a razors thin margin between 4-10We were 4th yesterday.
I missed it, what happened? I was watching SBA catch fire during the raptors gameElephant in the room: what the hell was that from the panel during last night's 1st intermission?
Florida also played and had to travel last night too.Playing Florida on the second half of a back to back doesn’t sound very good. Hopefully the Leafs at least show up tonight and play hard.
Well, last time JT was concussed, Matthews hurtYeah no issue with their play. Concerning thing is lack of finishing which has happened in the playoffs too
